Level 1, Lesson 1
Lesson: /a/ as in apple

Students learn the letter “a” and the corresponding sound /a/. Students learn this association with a Visual Mnemonic.

Level 1, Lesson 2
Lesson: /b/ as in boot

Students learn the letter “b” and the corresponding sound /b/. Students learn this association with a Visual Mnemonic.

Level 1, Lesson 4
Assessment 1: Short and Easy

Students demonstrate knowledge of the previously learned letters and sounds by matching letters/sounds with corresponding Visual Mnemonics.

Level 1, Lesson 16
Assessment 2: Longer and Harder

Students demonstrate knowledge of ALL previously learned letters and sounds by matching letters to sounds without the aid of Visual Mnemonics.
